Zeitgeist - Signs of the Times

The one thing I am sure of regarding this movie is that it will be talked about for a long time to come.

Debates will be going on between millions of people for many years to come.

For those who are not easily impressionable, but instead, always seeking to explore many views, it is a good watch and can further inspire the development of critical thinking skills.

Stephen Covey's acclaimed book, on the New York Times Bestseller List for years, not simply weeks or months..."The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" was my first introduction to paradigms and how we form them throughout our lifetime.

Sadly, many of us never take time to examine the paradigms behind our most closely held beliefs on many topics...we simply stand by those beliefs and never question them at all.

As I've grown older, I've learned many things, most by trial and error, unfortunately, yet I have also developed a lifelong quest for information and continuing education. I've learned to question why I believe certain things, and found that, often, I simply believed something because I happened to know, like and trust the person I learned it from, never even considering to ask where they learned it.

As far as this new movie ZeitGeist - The Film, it is a very thought provoking film, to the extreme.

So whether you agree with the things presented within this film as 'facts', whether you become a believer of all it 'teaches', well, that's up to you....however, I feel it's very worth watching, if for no other benefit, simply to re-enforce what one already believes on any of the many subjects this film covers.

On Jan. 15th, 2011, "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward" was released theatrically to sold out crowds in 60 countries; 31 languages; 295 cities and 341 Venues. It has been noted as the largest non-profit independent film release in history.
